818 Factory Road Trip

DSC_0371.JPG

We love the idea of taking something older and repurposing it with a new life, from our reclaimed barn wood to the antique beer crates that will make our bar lights. The building/property at 818 Factory Road is no stranger to reinvention… In the late ‘60s the building was erected to support a driving range for Beavercreek Golf Course. Factory Lighting took over the building around 1985 and enjoyed a short but prosperous run servicing the lighting needs of the area. After a few years, they moved out in search of a bigger space.  The next reincarnation took the building from a retail space to a series of banquet centers. Maybe you attended an event at Petticoat Junction Social Hall, 818 Place, or Banjara Banquet Center?

In the short time we have been here, we have had several people share their memories of 818: hitting the driving range with friends or family, hanging out at the arcade, or partying at the banquet center.  We look forward to hearing more as people stop in and make new memories at Southern Ohio Brewing!
